Fleet Liaison Officer Job Description Zenon have been commissioned by one of the UK’s most successful operations to source a Fleet Liaison Officer on a permanent basis for their facility in the UK.

Primary Job Purpose

• Effective planning and utilisation of aircraft to meet required tasks.
• Point of contact with our customers on all tasking matters.
• Maintaining an accurate record of aircraft plans within the operational IT systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting the Fleet Liaison Manager in the efficient utilisation of all aircraft in conjunction with the planning staff, whilst understanding the company targets.
• Monitoring the Aircraft Flying Programme to meet our customers’ requirements.
• Liaising effectively with all internal and external customers for all ops related matters.
• Knowledge of commercial constraints when tasking/programming aircraft.
• Liaising with the Engineering Planning Team and maintaining an Aircraft availability record.
• Updating statistical data as required, including keeping a comprehensive record of tasking.
• Ensuring that all departmental KPIs and business objectives are met.

Knowledge and Experience

• Previous aircraft scheduling experience.
• Understanding and experience of obtaining civil and diplomatic overflight permissions.
• Demonstrate knowledge of airport slot co-ordination and landing permissions.
• Problem solving and decision making skills.
• Ability to work to tight deadlines in a demanding environment.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• General knowledge and experience of crew flight time limitations.
