About your Job:
In this role, you are responsible for developing the pricing strategy and for managing the operations within the scope of a regional market whilst providing the necessary leadership and change management to achieve and exceed revenue targets. You will engage different strategies, tools and regression based pricing to support decisions.
You will ensure that there are clear processes in place for development, implementation, monitoring and adjustments of pricing strategies for Qatar Airways growing international network. You will use a data driven approach to develop new market pricing strategies and campaigns. You will implement robust and effective processes to ensure competitive pricing with focus on time-to-market. You will engage different strategies and tools and regression based pricing to support decisions.
You will lead key process interfaces with other head office and outstation commercial departments. You will ensure the development of constructive and collaborative relationships between local and regional sales teams and Revenue Management. You will define and implement, with other members of the Pricing Revenue Management Department, a pricing approach and associated system, to automate workflow, reduce errors, and introduce analytical decision - support tools, processes and methodology to record pricing actions and statistically correlate actual results to actions. You will guide team members on specific performance analysis on a O&D, route, regional or network levels, developing and recommending strategy and actions for improved RASK performance.
You hold a Bachelor degree or equivalent with minimum of 8 years of job-related experience. You have at least 2 years of experience in a management role. You have strong pricing experience and solid background in airline sales and revenue management; experience with ATPCO and Fares Manager, SITA, AirPrice or another airline pricing system.
You demonstrate mastery of Airline Pricing and Revenue Management theory and application. You have experience in using Origin and Destination concept . You have solid understanding of commercial processes required by an international network carrier, including network planning, sales and distribution, marketing, loyalty management. You have the ability to anticipate basic market requirements which will assist in making fast and efficient decisions.
We are looking for proactive, dynamic and passionate individuals with excellent commercial, analytical and communication skills that are focused on results and works well under pressure. You have strong quantitative and qualitative skills and advanced problem solving capabilities. People management skills and experience are essential in this role as well as the ability to lead and influence at senior management level.
